Our programmes provide long-term development and are tailored to a wide range of audiences from aspiring, new, to experienced leaders.

Arahina a koe anō |Leading self
By completing the Leading Self Programme you will be guided through a series of learning that develops all of the Leading Self Koru behaviours. You’ll learn techniques and skills that cover topics such as leadership, management, and communication skills.

Arahina tāngata kē | Leading others
By completing the Leading Others Programme you will be guided through a series of learning that develops your skills in leading and influencing others in your mahi [work]. If your role requires you to achieve through others, this programme is for you.

Professional Development Equivalent: 15 hours
Cost: It’s free!
The Applied Leadership programmes take your understanding of the theory and practice of leadership and applies it to what you’re currently experiencing as a leader – in real time.
Access: These programmes are offered annually via a selection process for cohorts of 10-12 people.
Professional Development Equivalent: 40 hours
Cost: The fee for this programme is being covered by Te Whatu Ora Waitaha
Arahina hauora | Leading health
The Enhancing Leadership Programme is a deep dive into leadership. You’ll explore the key elements of leadership and important personal characteristics that determine leadership effectiveness, resulting in enhanced team and organisational performance.
Access: This course is via GM nomination – first speak to your manager, then provisionally enrol via healthLearn
Professional Development Equivalent: 100 hours
Cost: Approx. $3,600 excluding GST
